Basic Irrigation Hydraulics & Design – Rain Bird

There are critical hydraulic principals that must be followed when designing, installing or maintaining an irrigation system.  We’ll cover pipe sizing, nozzle selection, and how elevation changes affect our systems.

Paul Reed is the Specification Manager for Rain Bird in the Rockies region, and has spent his career in the landscape industry.  After managing golf courses and municipal parks, Paul now supports  Rain Bird’s customers by offering in-field troubleshooting, training, and product-specific information.  He considers it a privilege to work in an industry that values the outdoors, and our most precious resource – water.
