CPS Remains Open – Curbside Pickup Only Effective Immediately

Dear CPS Distributors Family:

Thanks again for your continued business and for working through this difficult situation with us. It is our goal to continue serving you as long as we feel we can do so safely, and as long as all of us are permitted to operate. Should we have to pause our service in any market, we will do our best to notify you as quickly as possible. For updates, please stay in touch with your local teams and we’ll do our best to stay in front of anything that needs to be communicated.

All of our branch locations remain fully stocked & open and delivery service continues as normal. Effective immediately CPS will be moving to 100% Curbside pickup.

Unfortunately, this means that we will allow only employees into our buildings. We ask that you continue to communicate all new orders or questions over the phone, via fax, text, email, or through our website shop.cpsdistributors.com, and we will work with you to maintain excellent customer service. Please also understand that we are asking our associates to practice social distancing at our branch locations and on your jobsites as well (minimum of 6 ft. distance following guidance from the CDC).

In a world where many businesses are getting more and more impersonal, something we all love about our industry is that it is a people industry built on strong personal relationships. Any effort to limit our personal interaction with you is not taken lightly, but we feel these are necessary steps to take to keep everyone safe. Please understand that we are asking our associates to practice social distancing at our branch locations and on your jobsites as well (minimum of 6 ft. distance following guidance from the CDC). We recommend that you continue to communicate all new orders or questions over the phone, via fax, text, email, or by using the CPS Online Store, so we can have them staged and ready upon your arrival. We also encourage everyone to take advantage of our curbside pick-up option (just call us from your vehicle and we will bring your pick-up order out to you). Together, we will be able to maintain excellent customer service.

Dear CPS Family:

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our local communities, we want to personally update you on the steps we have taken to ensure business continuity. We know information about COVID-19 is quickly overwhelming email inboxes, newsfeeds, and our collective sense of certainty. The purpose of this message is simply to remind you that in the current environment, our people and our communities are what is most important to us, and your safety remains our top priority.

As daily routines change to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, you’ll look for new ways to work with us and we’ll offer flexibility to support your every need. If you have not already, please take a moment to shop online with us at shop.cpsdistributors.com. Our branch teams are always available by email and phone any time of the day. Phones will be forwarded after hours and you can reach us 24/7 via email or text message.

This is an unprecedented time for everyone, and the situation is changing daily. We are very carefully referring to the CDC, government agencies, and local health officials for guidance and recommendations in this difficult situation. As a reminder, our facilities are not open to the general public like retail stores (Home Depot, Lowe’s, Menard’s, etc.), so thankfully our exposure is limited, and risk remains low. In recent weeks, we have re-enforced and enhanced our branch cleaning policies and sanitized all high-traffic areas to the best of our ability.

Our branches will be open regular hours ensuring that you continue to receive the highest quality service without disruption. As a precaution, we have decided to cancel all upcoming classes and branch events through the end of the month. We will keep you updated on when we’ll be rescheduling any canceled or postponed events. We have also asked all our Outside Sales representatives to limit travel and utilize phone and electronic communication to meet our customer needs.

A few other recommendations to ensure that your business continues to run efficiently, and we work together to prevent the spread of the disease:

·     Utilize our online platform and shop online with us. Shop Online

·     Email or call-in orders to your local branch ahead of time. This will help our team have what you need staged & ready before you arrive. CPS Locations

·     Whenever possible, we kindly ask that you do not send large groups of employees to the branch. Allow us to provide “Curbside Service” and help load your order outdoors.

·     Take advantage of our delivery services to save a trip to your local branch

·     Sign up for BillTrust to get invoices/statements electronically and pay your bills online to avoid another trip to the branch during this time. Invoice Gateway / BillTrust

The next several weeks will be marked with both great challenges and great opportunities, and we are confident that we have the team, experience, and culture to navigate these times. Tough times show and build character and it is times like these where relationships are truly cemented, trust is unconditional, and the next 10+ years are defined.
